Terrorism, Islamic Jihad in Israel As Abbas Declares Palestine
At UN
The PLO's
ambassador wants an Apartheid Palestine.
No Jews or Christians, a state based on Islamic Sharia law.

New
York --- September 23, 2011 .... Dozens of Palestinians, awaiting
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' speech to the UN,
have attacked an Israel security checkpoint between Jerusalem
and Rahmallah. The IDF has responded with the use of non lethal
tear gas to disperse the demonstrators at Kalandiya. The IDF and
ISA have intercepted several suicide bombers at this security
checkpoint in recent years.
The
Israel police have mobilized over 22,000 officers and elite (MAGAV)
border police to join thousands of IDF soldiers as Israel goes
on the highest level of preparedness ahead of Islamic prayers
today in support of their application for UN approval of statehood.
Israel
Police Inspector-Gen. Yochanan Danino said that security forces
have been deployed across Israel with a special emphasis on Jerusalem.
That most of the activity was that of INTEL to address security
challenges in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, the Lebanon, Syria border
and throughout Israel before they manifest.
"Our
goal is awareness, trying to be aware of situations before we
need to use force," he said after the meeting. "The
quiet is continuing and we haven't seen any evidence that people
are preparing to disturb the peace," he said.
The Israel
Defense Forces says it has gone on high alert for what it is calling
an imminent Hamas attack along its southern border with Egypt.
Lt. Col. Avital Leibovich, an IDF spokeswoman, says there is "concrete
intelligence" that Hamas and other terror groups are trying
to infiltrate the border.
In New York, PA
President Mahmoud Abbas has declared his application for statehood
for a state of Palestine today at the UN and will request that
the Security Council endorses this unilateral move. US President
Obama told Abbas yesterday that the US would veto any move for
a state of Palestine at this time due to a lack of direct talks
between the PA and Israel.
Israel wants
peace. What does the PA and Hamas want?
Many view
the UN vote for Palestine as nothing more than the most elaborate
PR stunt ever created by the enemies of Israel. And the PLO, Hamas
and Islamic Jihad are not messing around. They have hired a professional
PR firm Bell Pottinger with a $30K monthly retainer for providing
strategic communications advice to the general delegation of the
Palestine Liberation Organization to get their messages out -
not just in Jerusalem but throughout the US and into the New York
subway system with billboards declaring that they want "peace
and justice".
These wolves
in sheep clothing are the same ones responsible for Islamic terror
attacks in Israel, London, Paris, New York and Washington. We
do remember 9/11?
That this is not an issue about land for peace but rather Islamic
Jihad or Holy War against all Jews and Christians.
One only has
to look at the facts, a quick glance of history that there was
never a Palestine or Palestinian people. Before the 1967 Middle
East war the West Bank was Jordan. The myth of Palestine was created
by Yassir Arafat after he tried to throw over the government of
Jordan in September 1970, failed and was exiled to Lebanon.
Arafat had
great PR as the PA, Hamas and Islamic Jihad enjoy oil rich Arab
dollars from Iran, Syria and other Arab states to pay for public
relations. Israel on the other hand suffers in PR as the Israel
Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not have the manpower nor the
budget to pay even one professional PR firm to confront the present
UN vote for Palestine. A small group of professional PR people
step up to volunteer as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs approaches
Jewish Federations for money to pay these professionals and are
given a no.
The issue
of Palestine is not about the Palestinian people. The so called
Palestinian people were given the opportunity to have their own
state back in 1948 and rejected it. Instead they joined Arab armies
to destroy the newly created modern Israel and in having lost
that war, have been absorbed by democratic Israel. Arabs living
in Israel have never had it so good. Health care is paid for,
they enjoy freedom of religion and speech, are able to vote, are
represented in the Knesset and have a growing economy. Israeli
Arabs shop in the same stores as Jews and their children play
in the same parks with Jewish children.
Any real talk
of Apartheid comes from the Palestinians.
The PLO ambassador
to the US said this week that any future Palestine it seeks with
help from the United Nations must be free of Jews.
"After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation
and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the
best interest of the two people to be separated," Maen Areikat,
the PLO ambassador, said during a meeting with reporters.
Such a state would be the first to officially prohibit Jews or
any other religion since Nazi Germany, which sought a country
that was judenrein, or cleansed of Jews, said Elliott Abrams,
a former US National Security Council official.
As Abbas makes his
declaration for an Apartheid state called Palestine, we can expect
Hamas and Islamic Jihad to wage as much terrorism against Israel
as they can, while Abbas says that it is not the PA.
The PA, Hamas, Islamic
Jihad and their financial backers in Iran, Syria and throughout
the Arab world want only one thing, and they have openly declared
it - the complete and total destruction of Israel. As they make
these declarations, Arab leaders in Iran, Syria, Turkey and throughout
the Arab world continue to use the Palestinian people as a mean
of deflecting the local and global media away from their own domestic
problems of poverty and a lack of human rights.
Arab leaders want Jewish
and Palestinian blood to flow as it makes better headlines than
torture and lack of democracy in their nations.
All Israel wants is
peace. Willing to create a state of Palestine. But a peaceful
state of Palestine which is not ruled by Islamic law that calls
for the murder of all Infidels - both Jewish and Christian.
This morning New York
Mayor Michael Bloomberg visited the 9/11 memorial with Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"Radical
Islam is threatening moderate Arab and Muslim regimes," said
Netanyahu.
"Terrorism
is their tool," he said. "We are in a decade of terrorism."
"The
threat is against all of us, against the regimes and the stability
in the Middle East, against the security of Israel, against the
safety of Europe and the United States, and, in my opinion, also
against the safety and stability of Russia and many other states,"
he said. "The struggle is not over. We are still in its midst."
He warned
that, if radical Islamists gained control of weapons of mass destruction,
the threat would become "immeasurably greater."
In his speech
at the UN today, Netanyahu invited Abbas to sit down and speak
peace while they are still inside the same building.
"In two
and a half years, we met in Jerusalem only once, even though my
door has always been open to you," said Netanyahu. "If
you wish, I'll come to Ramallah. Actually, I have a better suggestion.
We've both just flown thousands of miles to New York. Now we're
in the same city. We're in the same building. So let's meet here
today in the United Nations. Who's there to stop us? What is there
to stop us? If we genuinely want peace, what is there to stop
us from meeting today and beginning peace negotiations?"
In the hours ahead
it is critical to remember that Abbas and the majority of Muslim
Arabs are not talking about "peace and justice" but
rather Islamic Jihad. Abbas will not meet Netanyahu today or tomorrow
or next week. Islamic Jihad does not allow it.
