has commenced a new agenda to educate future generations of children
in Israel about the ancient Jerusalem Jewish Temple, its heritage

The programming
is vast and now can be followed on the new Website
(www.jerusalem-temple-today.com).
One of the
goals of this new Michael Cherney project is to start educating
Russia speaking children and youth about the first two ancient
Jerusalem Jewish Temples, their history, Judaism, religious worshiping
practices, meaning and historical, cultural significance.
Lectures for
children in Israel will be coordinated with renowned experts and
educators.
This interactive,
creative program includes a school play about the ancient Jewish
Temple in Jerusalem, a writing competition for the best short
story about the Temple (Temple Mount Yesterday, Today and
Tomorrow"), a series of lectures, a contest for children
for the best painting of the Temple and an operational drawing-painting
studio.
There are
also excursions and tours to the Temple's ancient site in the
Old City of Jerusalem, Israel which are now being organized in

attack, the Foundation published a book called Dolphinarium: Terror
Targets the Young.
The Michael
Cherney Foundation has established grants for students from
the former Soviet Union in all major Israel universities with
an annual endowment of 1 million shekels.
