New York ----November 1......The paper chase for a prestigious MBA degree usually begins with a GMAT or Graduate Management Admissions Test. GMAT is a standardized test for determining aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies. The GMAT is used as one of the selection criteria by most respected business schools globally, most commonly for admission into an MBA program.

"For the first time, e-learning has a brand new face," said Lenore Kellman, VP of Marketing at GMAX. GMAX Online provides soon to be MBA students with preparation courses for the GMAT. "No longer restricted to texts, and chat rooms, emails and occasional slides, the student is now face-to-face with his GMAT teacher. The teacher is concerned with only the one on-line student and writes on the whiteboard exactly as though he were teaching in front of a private class for you," says Kellman.

GMAX has been a leading producer of top performers on the GMAT exam for over 10 years. More than sixty percent of GMAX students make it into MBA graduate studies in Ivy League universities. Their success is the direct result of GMAX's unique content-driven teaching approach to the GMAT test.

"On the full computer screen, one views the GMAT GMAX preparation teacher and what he writes is visible clearly. This is new technology that no other GMAT test preparation school is yet using. The GMAX GMAT course is different from most other courses because it works on another principle," Kellman says. "While most courses depend on teaching tricks and strategies for solving questions, GMAX teaches the entire content of the material behind the questions on the GMAT test. So every lesson begins with a full review of the topic, and gradually brings the student to the level of the GMAT exam."

Kellman, an on-line pioneer in providing the GMAT GMAX course, states that GMAX provides 30 lessons, taking the students about 67 hours to complete. "Each lesson can be taken over and over again, with 90 views for the 30 lessons," says Kellman. "Many students have used fewer than the maximum number of views and have found a ready secondary market. They can sell their unused views on GMAT forums for a reduced price."

GMAX proudly boasts of over 1000 students who have taken the GMAX GMAT on-line course. GMAX provides three professional online teachers, working 24/7 for the MBA graduate student. "In addition to the obvious attraction of taking the lessons whenever you want to, and being able to pause, rewind, and fast-track the lessons, there is another major benefit. The course never runs out – some students, because of work pressure, have been enjoying taking the course over a period of almost two years. This is, in itself, remarkable," said Kellman.

The GMAT Internet video course comes with specific advantages as well. There are three adaptive Computer Adaptive Tests from Upstart Raising, a leader in the field, and 25 challenge tests from the GMAT club.

Who needs to take a GMAT course? According to Kellman, almost every MBA School in the world requires the American GMAT test. The test is given in almost every country, from Brazil, China, France, and India, to Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

The average GMAT student is about 26 years old and has been working for about three years in industries such as telecommunications, computers, Internet, financial consulting services, accounting, healthcare, medicine, biotech, defense, military, retail, property management, real estate, media, advertising, journalism, export import, fashion, graphic arts, law, banking, education, stock and options trading, entertainment, travel agencies, tour guides, music, employment agencies, and even sports.

GMAX GMAT students have been accepted by the world's leading MBA graduate schools including: MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Wharton, New York University (Stern), Haifa University, London Business School, Insead, Cornell (Johnson), Princeton, Duke (Fuqua), Chicago, Kellogg, Hebrew University, Miami, University of California at Los Angeles UCLA (Anderson), HEC – Paris, Dartmouth, UC Berkely (Haas), Michigan, Dartmouth (Tuck), Yale, USC – University of Southern California, Carnegie Mellon, Texas, Rotterdam School of Management, Georgetown (McDonough), Toronto (Rotman), Rochester (Simon), Tel Aviv University, Bar Ilan, Interdisciplinary Center IDC, and Boston University.

A student facing a GMAT test can access GMAX Online from any PC computer which has a fast broad band Internet connection. The GMAT GMAX student also has the option to take the GMAX CD Kit, being connected to the Internet for the minute it takes to log into the lesson. Either way, the student preparing for the GMAT will be experiencing creative and friendly classes as though one was actually attending them in person. The GMAX student can choose the course they need: the Verbal Course, the Math Course, or the Full Course for a complete learning experience that will give the MBA student to be - insight, confidence and knowledge in order to excel on the GMAT.

"GMAX was founded in 1994, to serve those potential MBA students who needed very high GMAT grades," said Kellman. "GMAX had and has a unique perspective about the GMAT that the test is not what is normally thought of as a psychometric test, in which certain tricks and strategies can be used to overcome even the hardest problems."

GMAX recognized that the GMAT was a knowledge-based exam, and that students seeking an MBA needed broad knowledge for a high grade. From the first course, in 1994, of 14 students, the grades earned were so high that other students started calling for available courses. Soon GMAX had to open preparation courses for the TOEFL, GRE, and SAT as well.

GMAX moved from a single classroom, rented by the hour, to three classrooms, and then to seven. Finally, the GMAT test preparation center moved to their own premises, but soon needed more classrooms. The grades kept astounding the staff at GMAX, as students continuously secured grades of 680 and higher.

"We have always worked by teaching each segment from the ground up," says Kellman. "Many adults have forgotten a lot of the material they learned in high school and earlier, and need a review before they can progress to the hardest types of questions on the GMAT. GMAX makes sure to provide that review at the start of each lesson, making it clear and understandable for every student, no matter his or her background. The philosophy of GMAX is to stay with its students even after they finish their course, and they get the grade they need. Similarly, those students who take the GMAX Online course can use it with no time limit, and can take it even three full times at no extra charge."

GMAX believes that the student should take the test only once, but take it well, only after he or she is certain that he knows the material fully. This philosophy and our willingness to be very generous with our students sets GMAX apart from most other GMAT test-preparation companies.

"Our students are very appreciative," says Kellman. "Most of our students come to us from the recommendations of their friends! In order to insure that each student finds his maximum level, we have two additional courses available, and three types of tutoring programs. The courses are live, online 90-minute sessions that meet once a week for 8 weeks: a master math course, and a writers' workshop. The master math course tackles difficult questions about a different topic each week. It is restricted only to good math students (80th percentile or higher). The writers' workshop is very helpful - students have their practice GMAT essays discussed and reviewed in a professional environment, and finally learn exactly how to write an outstanding GMAT essay."

In addition, GMAX specializes in helping students prepare their application essays to market themselves properly to the schools of their choice. Since no two students are alike, neither are the essays. Each essay is developed fully with the input of the individual student in a joint effort that, so far, has always created a successful application package. In short, GMAX has earned its reputation by being aware of the needs of the student, and by satisfying these needs.

GMAX illustrates its many student testimonials.

"I chose to work with Tamar Cohen after carefully scrutinizing the leading factors in the essay editing and planning market towards MBA studies. My choice of Tamar was an outgrowth of my personal impression of her, a recommendation I got from GMAX, and a logical, realistic price. I credit her with a substantial part of the fact that I was admitted into Chicago's and LBS' Mba. Tamar did not go easy on me during the process of planning and writing the essays, and turned every cornerstone of my strategy, while examining and deepening each and every sentence, its phrasing, and its overall significance. The result was worth the effort and the extensive work invested, and as proof --also the professional staff of the above universities thought so and decided to offer me a place in their classrooms. Thanks again and good luck," said Gur Biron

"Working on the application requires great investment - of both time and effort (even more than does the GMAT). Even though I handed her the material very close to the deadline, Tamar Cohen offered me critical feedback that improved my essays tremendously. The quality of her work was superb -- she censored, outstandingly. Always with a smile, always on time! I was accepted into a number of prestigious MBA programs, but I decided to take an MSc. in Economics and Accounting at LSE (London School of Business), after I received a full grant (study and living expenses) from the British government. Today, with my studies behind me, I am employed as a strategic consultant by POC Management Consulting Ltd. in Tel-Aviv. I have no doubt Tamar is responsible for this to a large degree," said Shai Babad.

"Tamar, A few days ago I received a positive answer from NYU. I wanted to thank you for your help with the essays. I am very aware of the fact that had you not gone over them, my situation would have been very different. Thanks again," said Tom O'Reilly.

"I started to work with Tamar Cohen at at relatively late phase of the application process - when I received the notice that I was on a waiting list to the MBA programs at Stanford University and at University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). If I regret something, it's the fact that I did not work with her on the application itself -- I have no doubt that with her help, I would have achieved better results. Tamar helped me work on the additional material required from candidates on the waiting lists, intended to increase their admission potential. After Tamar's touch, my essays returned stronger and more polished and professional. Tamar does not limit herself to only correcting the grammar and phrasing of the essays, but contributes from her vast experience to improve the content of the essays. I am presently a first year student at UC Berkeley's MBA program, and I have no doubt that a considerable part of my successful admission is credited to Tamar. I warmly recommend all those interested in applying to leading MBA programs abroad, to take advantage of Tamar Cohen's excellent services in order to improve their chances of admission. Again, many thanks, said MBA student Barak Turovsky.

"We have grown by word of mouth, from student to student. People who need a high grade in the GMAT seem to find us. May it continue," said Kellman.
